DentMILL is a completely ‘open’ CAM system based on Delcam’s world leading machining program called PowerMILL. The most efficient, fast, accurate and time saving strategies within PowerMILL, based on 12 years of development, are all found within DentMILL. This makes it the most highly automated and powerful Dental CAM system on the market today. DentMILL uses industry standard formats to enable easy model sharing and connectivity between other open CAD/CAM systems and CNC machines.

  • DentMILL contains a conventional 3 axis module, but also offers a 4 and 5 axis milling module for cutting areas of undercut regions and complex shapes where 5 axis capabilities may be required.

Complete Stock Materials Library
  • A library of standard stock materials is included; any custom size can be easily added. The material shrinkage value can be defined for any stock.
  • Any material types can be machined using DentMILL including titanium, zirconia and alloy.

nesting
Automatic Nesting and Set-up Sheets
  • Automatic nesting to position multiple parts in the best location to maximize material usage.
  • Sheets include stock material, item numbers & part shading. Automatic creation of process information sheets to easily identify restorations after machining.

Margin Line Priority
  • DentMILL recognises the margin line as the most critical part of the model and applies unique cutting strategies in this area to ensure high accuracy, minimizing hand finishing.
